Early Life and Career

Jonathan Tah was born on February 11, 1996, in Hamburg, Germany. He began his football career with the local club SC Victoria Hamburg in 2004. In 2009, he joined the youth academy of Hamburger SV, where he played until 2013.

Professional Career

Tah made his professional debut for Hamburger SV in 2013 at the age of 17. He quickly established himself as a regular in the team, making 96 appearances in all competitions. In 2015, he joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen, where he has played ever since.

At Leverkusen, Tah has become a key player in the team's defense. He has made over 200 appearances for the club and has helped them win the DFB-Pokal in 2019 and 2020.

International Career

Tah has represented Germany at the international level at both the youth and senior levels. He made his senior debut in 2016 and has earned 14 caps for his country.
